“Choices”

A wise man’s heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man’s heart directs him toward the left.
Ecclesiastes 10:2

We all make choices everyday—at home, at work, at the grocery store. Some choices come without thought, some we ponder and toil hoping to make the right choice. Some choices even though we think are right may come up short.

When was the last time you had an opportunity at work to make a choice that impacted someone other than yourself? Was it the right choice? How did it turn out?

Making a fair, honest choice is sometimes hard. We are human and often we err to the decision that benefits us.

Application
Be conscious this week when making choices. Look to the choice that is fair, not necessarily appealing.

Prayer
God, direct my heart so that I make choices that are pleasing to you.
