“Habits”

And Jesus said to him, “’If you can!’ All things are possible to him who believes.”
Mark 9:23

How many times have you asked, “Jesus, forgive me?” and then before you know it, you are right back where you were?

Our humanism is so real. Our hearts are willing, but often times our flesh and minds take over. And it’s usually not what society deems as the “really big things”. It’s the simple stuff like befriending the person who is not like us, not gossiping, or holding a grudge.

In the Mark 9:2-29, Jesus is simply asking the father do you believe enough to pray. Jesus is telling the father that his prayer is what caused the miracle. The father prayed and believed; therefore, his son was healed.

Application
If you practice something for 21 days it becomes a habit. Pick a life changing action and start a new habit today.

Prayer
Lord forgive my humanism and help me to have habits that will glorify you and strengthen my faith.
