“True Friend”

A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.
Proverbs 17:17

Loyalty is a highly personal form of commitment. When you are called a loyal friend, you are thought to be around no matter what—nothing will come between us.  When loyalty is present, a relationship is secure and solid.

Loyalty is tested. Fear creeps in when the unexpected arises. Maybe you find out your best friend is having an affair. Do you tell? Do you shun? A true friend will love and support even through adversity.

God is our true friend, even when we make mistakes or shun Him.

Application
Practice true friendship the next time your friend is in a difficult situation.

Prayer
God may I honor you the next time a true friend is in need. May I pattern my loyalty after you
