“What we do and say Matters!”

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Ephesians 2:8-10

 

We tend to think our earthly actions are not related to our heavenly rewards. Heavenly rewards are gained by what we say and do on earth. This is not salvation by works; faith in Jesus is our one and only basis for entering Heaven. Faith determines our destination and what we do (including what we do with our money) determines our eternal rewards.

Application

Our faith determines our eternal destination.  Our behavior determines our eternal rewards.

Prayer

God, help me to understand that my behavior determines my eternal rewards.
