“Inheritance”

His mercy goes on from generation to generation, to all who fear him.

Luke 1:50

 

What will your children inherit? What about your grandchildren?

Will it be a good nature or a mean spirit? Will it be your work ethic? Do you come to work on time, work hard, and give more than is expected, or do you just get by, enough to make the paycheck and go home? Or will they inherit your love for God?

Many things are passed down through generations. Maybe it was sitting on the front porch with a grandfather who told you stories and you long to share that with the next generation. Or maybe it’s the way your mother wrapped the ham in aluminum foil to cook.  Attitudes and love are passed as well. Is your love for God so sweet you want to share it generation to generation?
