I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
Do you ever find yourself comparing yourself to others? Maybe you are a good at sports and your friend is a better cook. You find yourself comparing your cooking to hers and feel inadequate. The beauty is that God has given each of us at least one talent. So don’t compare yourself with others.
Do you think the peacock and nightingale compare themselves? One has a squawky voice and beautiful feathers; the other has a beautiful voice and very dull, unattractive feathers. Both serve a purpose in God’s kingdom just like me and you.
Focus on what you can do—what your strengths are rather than comparing your weakness to someone else’s strength. Remember what Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Application
Use your talent(s) to glorify God.

Thank you for giving me my unique talent. Help me share it with others, so that I may glorify you
