God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
Matthew 5:8
The dictionary defines integrity as “steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code,” or more simply put “being honest and fair”. Some people think integrity only matters in the big picture—the major decisions in life. In reality it boils down to the little things; the things you are doing when no one else is looking. According to John Maxwell, “Integrity commits itself to character over personal gain, to people over things, to service over power, to principles over convenience, to long view over the immediate.”
Developing and maintaining integrity requires constant attention. Even though we think no one is watching us; God is. He knows our hearts and our actions. “The measure of a man's character is what he would do if he knew he never would be found out,’ said British writer and politician, Thomas Babington Macaulay.
Application

Prayer
May I practice integrity in all things, both small and large, when I’m alone and in a crowd.
