"Teamwork"

 "I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought."

1 Corinthians 1:10

There will always be conflict and strife in life, whether it is at home, with family, with friends, or at the workplace. It is how we deal with such conflict that determines the outcome. In the passage above, Paul tells us that there should be no divisions among us, and for us to be united in mind and thought. This is speaking to the concept of teamwork.

 

Application

While we may not always agree with one another, we should never hold differing opinions against each other (no divisions among you). We should also keep our common goal in mind at all times (united in mind and thought). If we think more about what we have in common than what we differ on, we will become a successful and determined team.

Please keep us close to You this week as we work together with coworkers, friends, and family to make this world a better place. May our success be solely credited to you, as we learn to become teammates through wisdom found in Your Word. Thank you for all your many blessings in our lives.
