“Around”

Whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone, especially to our Christian brothers and sisters.

Galatians 6:10

 

My mama always said, “What goes around comes around.” As a child I didn’t understand that statement. As a teenager, I began to understand, but the coming around just wasn’t fast enough for me. As an adult I try to stay conscious of the positive.

Paul told the people of Galatia not to get tired of doing what is good; don’t get discouraged and give up; for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time. Paul was encouraging us to be persistent in doing the right thing.

It’s difficult to stay positive and always do the next right thing. However, God honors those choices.
