“Control”

All who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.

Romans 8:14

I’m relatively literate with computers. However, I found myself in a situation where I felt clueless and helpless with a new software update. So, I called the software provider to help me troubleshoot the issue. The next thing I knew he was logged onto my computer moving things around clicking on icons.

Because I was so desperate, I let a complete stranger into the bowels of my computer. Within a few minutes the software issue was resolved, and I was working smoothly at home.

Looking back it was so easy to let a stranger take over. How often do I call on God to take over? Is He in total control? I like to think so. But like most, I give Him something and take it back a few times before I totally give it to Him.

Do you trust God in all areas of your life? Are you willing to let Him take control?
