“Abilities”

The angel of the Lord appeared to (Moses) in flames of fire from within a bush.”

Exodus 3:2

 

I’ve always been envious of people who knew exactly what their purpose was in life and what the next steps are in the journey of life. I on the other hand remember the feeling of uncertainty as one chapter in life neared completion and not knowing what the next step would be. Feelings of frustration and uncertainty are not comfortable feelings. Much like Moses, I want a burning bush, so that I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, “Yes, this is the next step; you will not fail.”

God however, often uses our weaknesses to grow us. And what seems to be an uncertain path, becomes the road to success. God knows our limitations and our abilities, and He uses both to His glory.

Father, thank you for knowing where we all are and using every situation to grow us. May we never limit you, Father; but trust the journey.
