“Believe”

The LORD says, “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.”

Isaiah 49:16

 

 

Standing on the shore of the Oregon coast I was lost in the beauty of God’s handiwork. The clear blue water breaking on the rocky cliffs topped with green. The ocean was infinite. The tour guide said that whales were known to be seen from the cliff. I said to another in the group, “and people don’t believe in God.”

We are but mere specks on earth. Yet, God knows us more intimately than we want to admit. He loves us so much that He sent His son to die for our sins. (John 3:16)

 

Application

Take time to admire God’s handiwork. Realize you too are part of His beautiful design.

God, thank you for loving me; may I not lose sight of your glorious wonder; and may I always believe.
