I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:14
It was the first day of the first grade for my daughter. She was in a class where she didn’t know any of the kids. Her kind spirit reached out to another girl who was set apart from the class—she wore dresses (everyday), and she was a different color. My daughter introduced herself and asked, “Let’s be friends?”
The friendship flourished. The girls were close for several years, and then in middle school the friend moved. Because of technology the girls have remained in contact and pick-up like no time has passed when they visit.
God doesn’t see us for the color of our skin, the clothes we wear, or where we live. He simply loves us and longs to be in relationship with us.
Application
Remember, God loves you just as you are.
Prayer
Thank you for creating me and loving me.
