“Trust”

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

 

Look at your day. Are you planning and scheming so the day will fit your schedule? Or do you allow your day to just happen? I realize there has to be some planning for there to be order and for responsibility to be maintained. For example, you have to put the dentist appointment on your calendar and the kids dance lessons are scheduled. But look at other things. Are you trying to force your coworker to put the tray on the right-hand side, when it works better for her on the left?

 

Don’t project yourself in the future. Live in the moment and trust God to lead the way, even in the smallest most insufficient things. When we start our day by spending time with Him, that opens the door to allow God to lead the day. When something doesn’t go your way at work, lean on Him to look past what you want and try to reveal what He would have you do.
