“Remember the Titans”

How wonderful it is, how pleasant when brothers live together in harmony!

Psalm 133:1-2

Remember the Titans is one of my favorite movies. What is amazing to me is that no matter where I pickup watching the movie, I’m drawn in like it’s the first time I’ve watched it. The movie is about a Southern high school that experiences integration in the early 1970s. It delivers a powerful message about life and people.

One of the key lessons from the movie is that it’s not about the individual, but the team. The coach forces the players to get to know each other in variety of circumstances. But it’s not until the players truly begin to accept each other and put the team above their own selves, do they begin to become champions.

A business is like a football team. It takes the efforts of all the employees to make the business successful. Great things are accomplished when everyone works together towards a common goal.
