“Building Integrity”

“It is better to be poor and honest than rich and crooked.”

Proverbs 28:6

If you know the truth, but do not live by it, then your character lacks integrity. What you say and how you act builds your character. Others notice your words and actions, even when you are oblivious. Be mindful of what you say to others, how you say it, and reflect on why you said it. A good self-check is turn it around. If what I just said was said to me, how might I feel or respond?

Remember what it means to be Christ-like. Take responsibility for your actions. Build your character; build your integrity.
