“Association”

When Moses came down the mountain carrying the stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face glowed because he had spoken to the Lord face to face.

Exodus 34:29

When people hear your name or where you work, what do they think? What are you associated with? Maybe it’s excellence. Or maybe it’s lazy. Some might think differently and say “quirky—in a good way.” What we do and say effects who we are, but who we associate with does too.

Look at Moses, after being in God’s presence His radiance had rubbed off on Moses. He had no idea that being in close fellowship with God would affect him. When Moses came down from the mountain, he glowed; the people responded to his brightness.

You may not know it, but others perceive you a certain way; it’s a reflection of how you spend your time.  What vibe do you want to send?

 Application

Take a look at how and with whom you spend time, and then reflect. Is that what you strive to be?

Prayer

God, I want to glow. Help me make choices that honor you.
